I have a strong family background in dentistry. My father was a graduate of Columbia. He was also a certified orthodontist and denture specialist. My older brother taught dentures at Penn and just retired from a very long career. My brother in law was a children’s specialist and before graduating BU in 1980 I had been the private dental technician for the Dean of Prosthetics at BU. I believe that I was a good dentist. The head of the denture lab that I used told me I was technically the best of any of his 160 client dentists from all over eastern NE I wanted so see the office I had worked so hard for continue as a quality practice. This week I saw Dr Ummi in an extended visit. She represents everything I had hoped my practice would continue to be. She is extremely pleasant, her work is superlative. She has a very lite touch. She works quickly without ever giving me the bums’ rush. She is a delightful conversationalist. She cares about you as well as your mouth.

Dr Umme’s assistant was as good as any of the 35 or more assistants I ever saw in my 40+ years. Very pleasant. Keeps you occupied with good conversation so your apprehension declines. Technically superb with feather hands.
The front desk person was quick, on top of things, thorough and pleasant.

After I left the office I wished I could have worked there except for some minor details like eyes, hands, and being a cripple from Agent Orange poisoning from my days as a soldier in Vietnam. But the next best thing is to know that the office I put my heart and soul into is in really good hands.
